Aims and Scope
The journal aims to highlight key issues in cultural studies and the arts, specifically the theoretical and practical aspects of cultural-civilizational development, theatrical arts, design, media, and sociocultural management. This allows for a comprehensive examination of the influence of cultural processes on the development of society in Ukraine and the world.
Since the publication of Vol. 25, No. 2, 2023, the editorial board has decided to narrow the scope, focusing on specific areas of cultural and artistic research. From now on, the journal will accept articles addressing the following topics:
- Research on the problems of theoretical and practical cultural studies: this category includes articles that examine the theoretical foundations of cultural studies as a science, its methodological approaches, and historical development. An important focus is also on analyzing the practical aspects of cultural studies, particularly how theoretical developments are applied in real sociocultural contexts.
- Analysis of cultural-civilizational development: this area is focused on studying the peculiarities of cultural and civilizational development in Ukraine and other countries, taking into account historical, sociocultural, and political factors.
- Research on the development of modern theatrical arts: this topic covers various aspects of the development of theatrical arts, from the evolution of theatrical forms to the analysis of contemporary trends and experiments in the theatrical field.
- Formation and development of design: this area is dedicated to the analysis of the emergence and development of design as a separate field of art and science.
- The role of art therapy: this topic focuses on the study of art therapy as a method applied for treatment and personal development through art. Articles may cover various aspects of art therapy, including its use in psychotherapy, rehabilitation, working with children, and people with special needs.
- Peculiarities of media space development: this area is dedicated to analyzing the media environment, particularly the development of mass media, information technologies, and their impact on society.
- Management of sociocultural activities: this area encompasses scientific research related to the management of sociocultural projects, institutions, and programs. Articles may address the analysis of management strategies in the fields of culture and the arts, the development of cultural initiatives, and the challenges of financing cultural projects.
The journal is aimed at professionals in the fields of cultural studies, art history, design, media, and sociocultural management, as well as a wide audience interested in the development of contemporary culture and its impact on society.
